The 20 teams will be divided into five groups of four, with each team playing five matches over the course of three weeks. The top 12 teams after 25 matches will qualify for a special match on Vikendi, and the top 16 teams will advance to the finals, which will take place from April 14th to 16th.


The teams participating in PUBG Mobile Pro League - Africa are a mix of seasoned veterans and upcoming talent. 12 teams will be coming from PMPL Africa Fall 2022, while five teams will be selected from PMNC MEA Wildcard 2022 and three teams will be chosen from PMNC Egypt 2022. The league promises to be an exciting showcase of the best that African esports has to offer.


The tournament schedule is set up in three phases, with each phase consisting of five matchdays. The first phase will take place on March 21st to 22nd and March 24th to 26th, followed by the second phase on March 28th to 29th and March 31st to April 2nd. The third phase will take place on April 4th to 5th and April 7th to 9th, leading up to the finals on April 14th to 16th.


The map and group rotation for the league is designed to keep things interesting, with each day featuring a different map and group. The groups will be labeled ABCD, ABCE, ABDE, ACDE, and BCDE, and each group will play four matches each day.
