PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) is a highly anticipated event in South East Asia. The league is a partnership between PUBG Mobile and Level Infinite and VSPO, and features top teams from across the region. The PMSL is an elite-level competition that provides an opportunity for talented teams to showcase their skills and compete for a prize pool of $250,000 USD.
The league consists of 20 teams, comprising of 15 partnership teams and 5 country league champions. The partnership teams are hand-selected based on their past achievements, financial stability, popularity within the competitive scene, and the structure of their organizations. Partnered teams receive a guaranteed direct invite to both their respective PMPL country leagues and the Super League in one season. Additionally, teams in partnership will receive incentives provided by the league to help teams invest and remain committed to the competitive scene during the league.
The league will take place from March 22nd to April 9th, 2023, and will feature three weeks of intense competition. Each week will consist of five matchdays, and each matchday will feature several matches. The teams will be split into five groups of four, with each group playing a certain number of matches per day.
During Week 1, the teams will be grouped randomly. In Week 2, the teams will be grouped based on their Week 1 placements. In Week 3, the teams will be grouped based on their Week 2 placements. The teams will be awarded with bonus points based on their placements after each week (Weekly Bonus Points). The total bonus points accumulated by the teams will determine their Finals Initial Points.
The top 16 teams based on Bonus Points ranking will advance to the Finals, which will take place from April 14th to 16th, 2023. The Finals will feature 16 teams and a total of 18 matches, with 6 matches played per day.
