PMPL ID Spring 2023 was a major esports event that took place from February 15th - 26th, 2023 in Indonesia. The tournament featured 20 teams, including 16 teams from the PMPL Indonesia Fall 2022 and 4 teams from the PUBG Mobile National Championship Indonesia 2022. The teams battled it out over the course of two weeks, with each week comprising of five matchdays, from Wednesday to Sunday.
The tournament's format involved grouping the teams into five groups of four during Week 1, and then, based on their Week 1 placements, grouping the teams into different groups for Week 2. The groups then played in a round-robin format with each group playing four matches per day.
The total prize pool for the tournament was $80,000 USD, which was distributed among the participants based on their performance. The first place was won by BOOM Esports, who took home $21,400 USD, followed by Voin Esports, who secured second place and won $15,000 USD. ARF Team claimed third place, winning $8,600 USD, while AURA Esports finished fourth, earning $4,800 USD.
The remaining teams from 5th to 20th place also received prize money from the pool, ranging from $3,300 USD for the 5th place to $450 USD for the 18th and 19th places. The tournament was a massive success, showcasing the talent of some of the best esports teams in Indonesia.
