 The PMPL Malaysia Spring 2023 tournament was a significant event in the competitive gaming world, bringing together 20 teams from Malaysia. This region got separated from Singapore, and the Philippines. The teams were composed of some of the best players in the malaysia, all competing for a chance to qualify for the PUBG Mobile Super League Spring 2023.



The tournament took place over two weeks, from February 15th to 26th, 2023, with each week consisting of five matchdays from Wednesday to Sunday. In Week 1, the teams were randomly grouped into five groups of four, while in Week 2, they were grouped based on their Week 1 placements. Each day featured five matches, with each group playing four matches per day in a round-robin format.

The competition was fierce, and the players gave their all to secure their spot in the finals. The tournament's champions would qualify for PUBG Mobile Super League Spring 2023, making it a crucial event for all participants. The champions of the tournament Geek Slate received a prize of $21,600, while the total prize pool for the tournament was $80,000, which was distributed among the participants.



The tournament had several awards that recognized the individual players' outstanding performances. The Season MVP award, which came with a prize of $1,000, was won by DamGOOD of Geek Slate, while the Gunslinger award, which came with a $500 prize, was won by the same player. The Grenade Master award, which recognized the best grenade throws during the tournament, went to Ivan of Genexus, while the Eagle Eye award, which recognized the player with the most accurate shots, went to Kenny of RAV3NWOOD. The Survivor award, which recognized the player who lasted the longest in the tournament, was won by DamGOOD of Geek Slate, while the Field Medic award, which recognized the player who healed the most during the tournament, went to Syamil of Yoodo Alliance.

In addition to the individual awards, there were also awards for the best-performing team during each week of the tournament. The Week 1 Best Performing Team award, which came with a prize of $1,000, was won by Geek Slate, while the Week 2 Best Performing Team award was also won by the same team. The Terminator award, which recognized the player with the most kills during each week of the tournament, was won by DamGOOD of Geek Slate in Week 1 and LoongSkr of Genexus in Week 2.

Overall, the PMPL Malaysia Spring 2023 tournament was an exciting event for players and spectators alike. It showcased the incredible talent and skill of the best players in the region, with intense competition and thrilling matches throughout the two weeks.
